ALBION MONCHENGLADBACH

It seems that Ersatz Rangers are now ready to take on the world. A resounding victory against the mighty Albion Rovers means that they are now ready to take on SPL teams and even the best that Europe has to offer. Mark Hateley is banging on about how Ersatz is ready to be a 'flair' team. So it's just going to be like last season when everybody wiped the 'flair' with them!

Bill McMurdo sees at as something great too and contrasts it with Celtic being beaten by Borussia Monchengladbach! That's right, of course, because Die Fohlen are on a par with the greatness that is Albion Rovers! Talk about sad.

And, as they usually do, they compare crowd sizes. Of course, they forget two things; two important things. The match against Gladbach was a friendly. Friendlies are never usually well-attended; players all scared to tackle and about a hundred substitutions don't make for an enjoyable match! There are also these things called families. The days of men ruling the roost and just sauntering off to football matches without a by-your-leave are gone for most people. Nowadays it's hard enough to get to see matches during the season without going to a meaningless match when the kids are on holiday! Of course, the Ersatz supporters have no such problems; any wife complaining about Ibrox meaning more than her and the kids will soon find herself in the Southern General!

And surely the Ersatzers should keep quiet about crowds when the only way they can fill Ibrox is by selling the tickets for ten bob each; and even then 'The Peeppul' won't pay full price, but pretend to be juveniles to save money!

Meanwhile Nacho Novo claims to be disappointed that Sooperally isn't interested in signing him. I rememer the last time somebody wasn't interested in Novo and then he lied through his teeth, making out that he was the one that turned down Martin O'Neill! I wonder if he's going to 'write' another book!

Oh, and as usual, they're concerned about child abuse; but only if it takes place among Catholics! I suppose that's their first question when they find out that somebody's a paedophile: is he a Catholic? If not, then he must be a much-maligned, innocent man! It's quite disturbing, really, the way these people actually want children to be abused, just so they can take the moral high ground!

The strange thing about the whole affair, as far as I'm concerned, is why these priests aren't being arrested if there is so much evidence against them? The police don't need the Church's permission to arrest a member of the clergy, so why aren't they doing so? Could it be that the Establishment are trying to brush it under the carpet in fear of some wider-ranging investigation? Some of the accusations levelled after Jimmy Savile died certainly point in that direction!

I still think the Orkney abuse scandal was was actually set up. Rather tackily, if you'll excuse me, this leads me to my latest novel on Amazon, which covers this kind of topic. I'll be giving half my profits, if any(!), to Children 1st. Before anyone thinks I'm too generous, that works out at 50p for them and the same for me! You don't make loads of money out of books unless you're JK Rowling!

Anyway, have a look here and see what you think. And if it seems too dear, the Kindle version is a lot cheaper but Children 1st will still get their 50p!

AN ORANGEMAN'S PRAYER

'O Lord, please let more of those Fenian bastards' children be sexually abused so we can cast it up to them. And we'd be doubly grateful if you would let it happen at Celtic Park. Remember, We arra Peeppul, so dae what yer telt! Amen.'

THE BIRDS (OWLS) AND THE BEES

There was recently a Facebook page, called 'Lee Rigby was a Rapist,' which existed for no other reason than to make up disgusting lies about this man, who was murdered in cold blood. Apparently the page had sick posts on it, saying he 'deserved everything he got' and accusing him of being involved in right-wing politics and unsavoury activities. Of course, this page was removed and caused a furore about the disgusting individuals that were uploading vile messages to it. Quite a few angry people had plenty to say about muslims, immigrants and the softly-softly approach towards them. The English Defence League garnered more support because of this page.

It now transpires that it was actually members of the EDL that started this page and they were the ones that were posting all the despicable lies. It was intended as black propaganda against muslim immigrants and as a recruitment aid for the EDL. It certainly seemed to work until their cover was blown!

Another filthy lie made its way onto the internet during the week. Just like the scenario outlined above, it was intended to turn everyone against one group of people. I am talking, of course, of the mythical singing about Lee Rigby by Celtic fans at Brentford. One, I repeat, ONE 'Brentford fan' put a complaint up on Twitter about this alleged singing. This was closely followed by some 'Celtic fans' saying that they had heard it and how disgusted they were. Strangely, however, nobody else, including the majority of the Brentford fans (i.e all of them minus this supposed 'one') and the police. The local press down that way are actually sceptical about it happening at all or that the complainants have anything to do with Brentford or Celtic. I wonder who they really were?

I'll give you a clue as to who they might have been. I had a look at some of the Brentford forums to see for myself what the fans were saying. The first Bee up on the forum quoted the Twitter message. He ended with the slogan, 'You're always victims; it's never your fault' Now, I wonder which sort of person would direct that to the Celtic fans? Need more clues? One Brentford fan had heard nothing and questioned if the singing had actually taken place. He was told, by another 'Brentford supporter' to 'Fuck off Timmy!' I think we know what kind of sleekit scum would come out with a sentence like that!

Supposedly there was a 'riot' at Brentford, with somebody trying to 'break the goalposts.' A crowd of Celtic supporters ran onto the pitch, that was all. The police saw it as good-natured and only made one arrest. Meanwhile ONE guy was swinging on the crossbar. Now, I know that the XXXXXXL size of your average Ersatz supporter makes it a certainty that if one of them swung on a crossbar (provided he didn't have a heart attack trying to climb up) the whole frame would come crashing down. Normal people, however, can swing on one with no ill effects.

The Ersaters, meanwhile, are patting themselves on the back for their 'wonderful behaviour' at Sheffield. This behaviour included dusting off the banned song book for its first airing in public since that day in Berwick. Again, some of the praise of the Ersatz support on the Owls' forums looks a bit suspicious, especially when they start to accuse the police in Bretford of being 'Celtic-supporting Catholics' for not arresting anyone! One or two genuine Wednesday supporters were a bit concerned about the songs the Ersatzers were singing but they were shouted down by the other 'Owls fans.'

So, in reality, the whole 'Lee Rigby song' affair was made up by the Ersatzers to paint Celtic fans in a bad light and to give them an excuse for their arse-licking banners. They're a bit like what used to be called in the USA '200% Americans.' Usually these were movie makers and showmen of immigrant stock that would go way over the top in patriotic displays in order to be accepted by mainstream Americans. A case in point was George M Cohan's often vomit-inducing musical extravaganzas. The Ersatzers are desperate for the English to like them and, it seems, will go to any lengths to try to achieve this. The shadow of Manchester 2008, however, looms over every effort they make!

I had to have a laugh at something on Bill McMurdo's blog today. Talking of today's march by people with ginger hair in Edinburgh he says:

'Sadly, there is still a propensity among adults as well as children to mock and taunt anything which is different or not normal. I should know – I have been persecuted for years for being so handsome.
This mocking of things outwith the perceived norm means that overweight people, extremely skinny people, people with birthmarks or unusual features and not-so-bright people get singled out for abuse and taunts.'

With not even a hint of irony he seems to be decrying the insults hurled against people for being different. And yet, his own blog provides a welcoming outlet for bigots galore to hurl insults at Catholics!

Finally, I saw something unusual in The Sun the other day. As is normal in this rag, they were banging on about a family of immigrants. This family has sponged off the tax payer for years, even having their large house paid for them, as well as getting free health care, free travel and free home help. One of the younger members of the family and his wife have just had a baby, which the tax payer is going to have to pay for. They are also being rehoused, again at the tax payers expense! Strangely, though, The Sun did not take their usual condemnatory tone, instead seeing this as something to celebrate!

NOT IN SERVICE

The Ersatzers are all on stilts at the moment, or standing on each other's shoulders, desperately trying to reach up to take the moral high ground. They are all in a frenzy about the 'riot' at Brentford and the burning of Rangers team coach. No, they haven't finally caught up with Sooperally; it's a bus they're on about!

It's amazing how they can keep a straight face and accuse anybody of rioting. After the shameful displays in Manchester and the equally shameful displays by their supporters in Northern Ireland, you'd think that they would keep quiet about this sort of thing; but, no. A few dozen numpties ran on to the pitch at Brentford, causing no damage whatsoever and not fighting with anyone. The Brentford fans did not see anything worth bothering about while the newspapers have by-and-large ignored it. Of course, say the Ersatzers, this is because Peter Lawwell has the Scottish media in his pocket. The fact that English newspapers did not see it worth reporting must mean, then, that the same situation exists with the English media! Does Lawwell own Rupert Murdoch?

The usual chant of the Ersatz bigots is that 'it's in their DNA.' Of course, they never say this about one of their own. Lee McCulloch was almost sent off at the weekend in a FRIENDLY against FC Emmen for elbowing somebody in the face! He's still playing to his strengths, then. Meanwhile former Rangers 'star,' Stephen Hughes has been arrested for resisting arrest and attempted assault on a police officer, while wife-beater Paul Gascoigne has also been charged with assault. Some mob, eh? It must be in their DNA!

And the bus saga goes on. I just discovered today that the Easdales had £100,000 stolen from a safe in one of their depots earlier this month. Why the hell that sort of money was left in a bus depot is anybody's guess. Maybe it was due to be taken to the laundrette! And now another bus company's depot, housing Ersatz FC's new team bus, has been torched. The newspapers are blaming 'a thug' but the whole thing smacks of the dark days of the ice-cream wars to me. I remember back in the 80s going to the van in Castlemilk for a bottle of Irn Bru, only to be showered with glass when a shotgun was blasted at the other side of the van. That's how these people operate and they don't care who gets hurt!

It is also rather suspicious that the Bruce's bus depot also contained several gas canisters, a fact that seems to have been now omitted from the story. Why the hell would such items be left lying in a bus depot? Strangely, I posted this question on The Sun's webpage, only for it to be disallowed. They did allow, however, this gem: 'Don't worry bhoys! an eye for an eye.' So it seems that threats are deemed acceptable by The Sun!

One astute poster pointed out a telling aspect of this story: there seems to be more concern for a bus than there was for the life of Neil Lennon! Sooperally has been quick to condemn the 'yobs' responsible, yet there was not one word of condemnation coming from him, or anyone else at Ibrox for that matter, for the bigots that sent bombs and bullets through the post to the Celtic manager. It must be in their DNA right enough!

Some wag, calling himself BazzaPalooza posted this cracker: 'See when The Rangers get a new team bus, will it get the old one's service history?' Why is it that you never get anything as funny as that posted by an Ersatzer? It must be in their DNA!

Ally proudly shows off the replacement team bus.

THE WHEELS ON THE BUS

Remember when Craig Whyte sold Jelavic for £5m? Part of that money was owed to Rapid Vienna, which reduced the net amount somewhat. But then, nobody concentrated on that. Sell-on clauses, development fees etc are all part-and-parcel in football nowadays. Everyone knows that no matter what is paid for a footballer, the team receiving the fee does not get the full amount. It makes no difference to what the sale price was; until now, that is.

The recent sale of Wanyama has the starving agnivores falling over themselves to point out that the full £12.5m will not be going into Celtic's coffers. We all know that but our arse-kissing media and Ersatz FC blogs make out that this is the first time it has ever happened. No doubt it sticks in their craw that Celtic has managed to sell somebody for double figures and they're desperately trying to downplay it. Desperate is, of course, the operative word!

Speaking of desperate, I see Operation Deflect is still in overdrive. The clutching-at-straws claims that Celtic is involved in some kind of financial irregularities continue apace. They've even started mentioning it on newspaper websites. What I find hilarious is that somebody posts a huge pile of gobbledegook, which Stephen Hawking would struggle to understand, and then the rest of the Ersatzers congratulate the one posting, saying 'Keep up the good work,' etc. They never discuss the content because they understand it no more than the rest of us!

Meanwhile they're all going daft at singing that allegedly took place at Solitude Park. Supposedly, the BBC 'turned down the volume' so that we would not hear it. How the hell this is achieved is never explained. I know there's lots of hi-tech equipment available these days but somehow I don't think that what they are claiming is feasible in a live broadcast. The true story is that it tends to be just a small minority that sing these IRA songs, which means that you usually have to strain to hear them. A telling point is that I know none of the lyrics of these songs, but I know plenty of the lyrics of the 'Billy Boys' etc because I've heard mass choirs belting them out on many occasions!

And so on to the friendly against Brentford. Reading some of the Ersatz blogs you would think that a full-scale riot had happened to rival the disgusting scenes in Manchester five years ago. Having a look at Brentford blogs, however, paints a different picture. Many of the Bees' supporters seem to have had a good day and are thanking Celtic fans for providing a great atmosphere. Somebody uploaded a video of the 'pitch invasion' and you'd be lucky to count a hundred people. The Brentford supporters mostly find it hiliarous that these Celtic fans were celebrating as if they'd just won the Champions League! There is no talk of damage or fighting and official figures show that there was ONE arrest.

Ever since the rioting in Manchesters the Rangers, and, subsequently, the Ersatz, supporters have been desperate to tar Celtic supporters with the same brush. A few drunks getting rowdy at Dens Park, some idiots chanting at friendlies, a few drunks invading the pitch at Brentford and some unsavoury chants at Solitude Park are all blown up in a pathetic attempt to bring Celtic down to their level. Ironically, while the 'chanting' was going on at Solitude Park, only a couple of miles away Ersatz supporters were involved in pitched battles with police! They really have no shame!

And finally, the tale of the burnt buses in Lanarkshire. They're all claiming that this was some 'sectarian' action in destroying their team's state-of-the-art coach. It has been shown that the fire was, indeed, started deliberately. Rather coincidentally, there were many gas cylinders being stored in the garage at the time. What does that suggest to you?

There is also the fact that Paul McConville mentioned on his blog a while back that this coach was a bit of a slap in the teeth for the Easdales. Allegedly, the Brothers Grim have previous for this sort of action against rivals; so, again, the Ersatzers are on the wrong track.

I haven't been posting quite so regularly just now because, as I said before, I'm working on another non-selling blockbuster novel! I'm nearly finished so I should be back to normal soon.

P.S. I've started writing on my other blog in support of the YES vote for Scottish independence. I'm getting fed up with the lies and misinformation being peddled by the MSM. The link is over on the top right.

Did yez see that headline, 'Coach on Fire'? Ah telt yez Ah wis good at ma joab!

ROOM FOR ONE MORE!

Another Night of the Long Knives at Ibrox has seen the departure of Malcolm Murray and Phil Cartmel (who?). Both of them 'resigned' while one of the Bus Brothers was made a non-executive directot (NED, for short!). So much for Mr Dignity's deep friendship and loyalty to Murray, eh?  'Aye, well done mate, there's a wee pat on the back. Now there's the door, piss off!'

It was not that long ago that the supporters of Ersatz FC, including Mark Hateley and other contributors to the Scottish media, were screaming about the SFA applying 'fit and proper person' tests. In their neverending quest to blame others for their troubles, they sought to point the finger at our football authorities for Whyte's behaviour. Where's the clamour disappeared to now? If only half of the stories about the Bus Brothers are true then not only are they not 'fit and proper persons' to be on the board of a football team, they're not fit and proper persons to be walking our streets!

Many of the Ersatzers seem to think that having the Bus Bothers on their side is a good thing. 'They'll stand up for Rainjurz!' is the general opinion. In other words, Neil Doncaster might well wake up one morning to find himself sharing a bed with a big cuddy's heid!

Meanwhile the Daily Record continues to give a platform to the guy with the 'off the radar' IQ, Kieran Prior. It's strange how nobody else seems to give a shit what this guy's saying; only the DR! Apparently this character owns 1.2 percent of Ersatz FC and says he only bought the shares to find out what's going on. (Does he not read this blog?) He says that he will 'continue to ask questions.' Unfortunately, nobody, except the DR, seems to even notice that he's there, never mind provide him with answers!

He does, however, raise some interesting points, one of which everyone else seems to have forgotten. Charles Green has a lock-in period on his shares of two years, which means that he won't be selling to anyone for at least another year. The stories of him selling up to the Bus Brothers are just that; stories. They won't be able to get their hands on those shares for a good while yet.

Which leads to another of Prior's points: what makes one of the Bus Brothers eligible for a seat on the board at Ibrox? Neither of them appears on the lists of shareholders so how can one of them be on the board? Surely it's not a case of that 'thur gonny hiv shares so wae might as well let thum oan the board the noo'? It is entirely possible that, if the Bus Brothers were to buy Green's shares, then they might well end up as the biggest shareholders. In that case maybe everybody is just 'sookin' up' before this scenario materialises! Or it could just be, as some Ersatzers have suggested about Big Jabba's sinecure, that they know which cupboard the skeletons are in; unless, of course, Craig Whyte sold them!

Interestingly, as Prior points out, Ersatz FC has also changed brokerage firms. They have got rid of Cenko (Is that not a coffee?), which is apparently a long-established firm, and replaced them with Strand Hanson, which almost exclusively deals in the AIM diddy stock exchange. Why they have done this has not been made clear but it might be so that Green can sell his shares. There is a lot of red tape to go through before this can be done, which a firm like Cenko might well have advised against. (Phil Cartmel was Cenko's placeman, by the way). Are there going to even more financial shenanigans at Ibrox?

Of course, the main point of all these changes is to distance the current regime as much as possible from Green. The sale of the assets by Duff and Phelps was tantamount to fraud and might still result in said assets being seized by the liquidators. The subsequent setting up of the new company and club, not to mention the share issue, would be null and void. This possibility appears more likely when one considers Green's links to Whyte. The hope is, therefore, that if the board at Ibrox severs all ties then they can perhaps use the excuse that 'a big boay dun it an' ran away' and be left alone!

And finally, The Sun ran a story about Hibs player Scott Robertson's 'semi shame.' That's the thing when you're young, a stauner can always pop up when you least expect it, especially when you're naked in the changing-room!

RIGHT TO REPLY

It's a rather twisted tactic but I guess that's how you get folk to swallow swallow. Bill McMurdo lets you post on his blog and then all the cockroaches come out, full of bile to have a go at you. When you answer them then the 'moderator' doesn't allow your comments. This makes it look as if you've run away and the Big, Brave, Ersatz Rangers supporters can convince themselves of their righteousness once more!

To balance things, here are my replies, which were not allowed on Bill's blog yesterday.

watpforeve says:

Bill, how much longer for this repeatable clown. When are you going to ban pat the racist – his established fenian routes are remarkably the same as the traditional oirish, anti-British philosophy, and unlike them, he forever criticising us, the Presbyterian/Scottish, us British citizens.
Pat, is it the results of ancestral blight, or have you had to study this affliction.

Words like 'oirish' and 'fenian' show clearly who the racist is. This pathetic tirade also shows how uneducated you are; most of it is hard to decipher. What does 'repeatable' mean? 'Fenian routes'? Are they some kind of roads or something? As for criticising the Presbyterian/Scottish, I don't remember ever doing that, except in answer to your usual, disgusting, posts about 'fenians' 'oirish' and 'Indigenous Scots.' As to the latter, I take it you were out marching at the weekend, celebrating an 'Indigenous Scot' losing his throne?

Jamie says:

Pat only reads what he wants to read! Have you found out if celtic were ever punished for child abuse, Pat? I only asked you 3 weeks ago!

And I answered. It was, however, not posted, as you're not allowed to challenge bigots like yourself on Bill's forum. So, I'll answer again. Why would Celtic be punished for child abuse when they were not guilty of said crime? I believe the perpetrator is currently languishing in prison. Ironically, if Celtic had pursued the same sectarian policies as Rangers then the child abuse would never have happened!

Ian Barrie says:

Pat knows what tainted titles are…don’t you pat.

I certainly do. They're the titles that Rangers won when using EBTs to gain an advantage. There's also the matter of Ersatz Rangers' Third Division title. Green bought the assets fraudulently, so his new club was set up fraudulently and it was allowed into the Third Division fraudulently. You can't get much more tainted than that!

THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKING

You can feel the excitement in the air. It's that time of year that every self-respecting bigot loves. They'll be making sure they've got everything ready. Cans of Special Brew: check. Half-bottles of Buckfast: check. Shoes with the soles on the sides for that special, rickets-sufferers gait: check. Yes, it's that time when all the 'Indigenous Scots' get together to celebrate...er...the removal of an indigenous Scot from the throne and the arrival of a foreign pederast to replace him.

Ask them what they're marching for and they'll tell you it's to celebrate the winning of 'freedom.' And it's true. In this wonderful country of ours you can rise to be Prime Minister if you're a Hindu, a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, a Satanist or a Jedi Knight. If you happen to be a Roman Catholic, however, you can forget it!

Meanwhile, back at HQ, Charles Green has resurfaced. Apparently he wants to call an EGM to get certain people off the board. He thinks they're spending too much money. Er...wasn't he the one that promised Sooperally a £10m warchest? So I take it that was just the usual bluster. The ones on the board at the moment will be absolutely shitting themselves to see him back. They're desperate to distance themselves from him as much as possible; and for good reason.

BDO have still to carry out their investigations into what happened at Rangers and the powers-that-be at Ersatz Rangers are terrified about what they are going to uncover. The connections between Duff and Phelps and Whyte and Green and Whyte point to some serious fraud having occurred. Duff and Phelps hardly broke their backs to find a buyer and never, at any point, seemed to be working in the interests of creditors, as administrators are supposed to do. When liquidation comes to a company then the liquidators are supposed to tally the assets and then sell them off for as much as possible to get the maximum return for creditors. This did not happen at Ibrox. Instead, the administrators sold Green all the assets for a cut-down price. Given Green's proven links to Whyte it would appear that this had been the plan all along. In other words, fraud!

If BDO were to do their job properly, then Green's purchase would be nullified and the assets grabbed back to be sold for a decent amount and in a legal manner. That would leave Ersatz FC without a ground, meaning that their playing licence would have to be revoked. Effectively, they would be dead and gone. Green's shareholders would have no comeback and would lose their money.

This is the reason why Green was ousted and why nobody at Ibrox wants him back. They are desperately hoping that if Green is not around, and they keep their heads down, BDO might not notice that they are there! As is their wont they think that they can break the law and everyone will look the other way. They're probably right. Everyone would look the other way. With Green still around, however, looking the other way would be difficult to justify.

Of course, the best means of defence is attack, or at the very least, deflect. That is why these stories about financial collusion between Glasgow City Council and Celtic have surfaced. To the Orange Hive Mind, Glasgow City Council was taken over by 'Fenians' years ago. Mind you, they say that about practically all councils! They can let their imaginations run wild, highlighting accounting irregularities as part of what they see as the great conspiracy. The fact that no proper authorities have given credence to this shite, despite the Ersatzers getting in touch with all and sundry, shows that it has no substance. They're still trying, though. They are absolutely desperate to divert attention away from Ibrox and will go to any lengths!

A rather worrying couple of items cropped up on Bill McMurdo's webpage the other day, showing the ugly side of the Ersatz FC support. Firstly, there is the vote on Scottish independence. Breaking up the Union is enough to have any Orangeman crying into his Buckie so they see the whole thing as a great Catholic conspiracy, involving, of course, Peter Lawwell and the Vatican. Old Bill tells us about a story in the press where a man accidentally stabbed his wife during an argument about Scottish indpendence. Of course, he sees this as proof positive that we're going to have a conflict of American Civil War proportions.

Anyone that knows anything knows that there are utter bams out there that will fight, argue and stab each other at the drop of a hat. Spouses have stabbed each other over whose turn it is to walk the dog or feed the goldfish, so I think Old Bill's getting things out of proportion a bit!

He goes on, however, to predict that the 'losing' side will take to the streets and riots and violence will erupt. That, to me, sounds suspiciously like a threat. If the result is a 'Yes' vote then we're all going to experience the wrath of Scotland's Orangemen. Considering their reaction to a telly being broken in Manchester, it might be wise to heed these threats!

The other, more worrying, item on the agenda on McMurdo's blog, was about Ersatz FC supporters being 'chosen.' Apparently God has 'chosen' them to be 'Rangers' supporters, the rest of us untermenschen choose our own teams. I asked if this idea of the 'chosen' was along the lines of the Calvinist idea of predestination; he replied that it was.

Many people nowadays are unaware of perhaps the main tenet of Calvinist churches, including the Church of Scotland. These churches believe in predestination, the idea that God chose, away at the beginning of time, who is going to be saved and who is going to be damned. Of course, the members of the Calvinist churches see themselves as being this 'Elect.' Unlike Catholics, and other Christian denominations, who are supposed to search within themselves for sinful thoughts and repent, Calvinists are to look within them for 'proofs' of their 'electedness.'

Inevitably, this gives rise to a superiority complex. A case in point is the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa, whose beliefs included, and might well still include, the belief that black people did not have souls! This was a major influence on the Apartheid system. In America, Christian Individualists believe that only white, Anglo-Saxon people have souls; all the rest are classed as animals. With this sort of mentality, the cry of 'We are the people' takes on a rather sinister aspect. These clowns honestly believe that supporting Rangers, or Ersatz Rangers, is a sign of their 'electedness.' Worrying, isn't it?

This also helps to explain their sense of entitlement and their belief that they can do no wrong. Predestination takes no account of our behaviour on this earth. It makes no difference what you do; if you are one of the 'Elect' you can behave badly and still go to Heaven, whereas you can be the nicest, most altruistic person in the world but you will still go to eternal damnation if you are not one of the 'Elect.' That is why they can do things like ransack cities like Barcelona and Manchester but be utterly convinced that they have done nothing wrong!

Changing the subject slightly, I had to laugh at how they are all up in arms about Neil Doncaster's appointment. Many of them are saying that the post should have been an open competition between all different candidates, with the best chosen for the position. That'll be in the same way that the assets of Rangers were sold off in an open market to the highest bidder, eh? People in glass houses etc etc.

This is the first post I've made in a few days. I've actually been busy writing another book to add to my list of non-sellers on Amazon. Make an auld man happy; go and have a look at them at least!

Wee arrow people.

ROMAN IN THE GLOAMIN'

The knives are already out for the new SPFL before it's even up and running. Gordon Waddell, toeing the Trigger's Brush party line as usual, has plenty to say on the matter. According to him, the SPFL should not even be thinking of appointing a new chief executive. He starts by saying that both men, Doncaster and Longmuir, are unsuitable but his whole article is just the usual Trigger's Brush diatribe against the SPL.

He says that the past two years have been 'the single most embarrassing phase in Scottish football history...' How does he make that one out? What happened? Oh, I forgot, Rangers went into liquidation and Green's new team was not allowed to walk straight back into the top tier. Well, that's Doncaster's card marked. As we all know, Rangers were not to blame for any of their financial troubles, it's still the same team and they were illegally 'relegated' to the Third Division. Embarrassing doesn't even begin to cover it!

'...the credibility of the pair in question in the eyes of the paying public is shot. They are both tainted by a process which has been handled excruciatingly badly for the best part of two years.' It's one of the Brushers' favourite words, 'tainted.' Isn't it funny how everybody and everything is 'tainted' except for the ones that actually caused all the problems? And what process was 'handled excruciatingly badly'? Why, the process that stopped Trigger's Brush walking straight into the SPL, of course! Do you think if Green had been allowed to just walk into the top tier and everybody pretended that nothing had happened that people like Waddell would be bad mouthing our top tier?

His suggestions that the Bundesliga or MLS should be consulted are pretty disingenuous. What he really means is that all authority should be vested in Trigger's Brush and have done with it. He doesn't mention 'cabals' but he might as well have done.

Hugh Keevins, in the same paper, continues the attack, praising Annan chairman Henry McLelland for standing up against those in the SPL. He omits to mention, of course, that McLelland owned shares in Rangers. His agenda in trying to put a spanner in the works has to be questioned in light of this fact. Keevins, however, sees him as a hero, standing up to a corrupt organisation. Again, he does not use the hive-mind word 'cabal' but he all but implies it.

He says that the SPL 'made “insolvency event” part of our vocabulary. Along with administration, liquidation – and mortification as the game’s image has suffered.'

Again, everything that has happened has been the fault of the SPL. You'd think you were reading Bill McMurdo's blog rather than a newspaper. And the Brushers accuse the Record of being against them! In reality, the agnivores of our press cannot admit the truth without implicating themselves; after all, they contributed by their constant arse licking to David Murray and then Craig Whyte. That's why they have to help perpetuate the lie that the SPL is to blame!

Things are hotting up on Bill McMurdo's blog as the hurt over Trigger's Brush not running things gets deeper and deeper. All they can talk about, apart from seeing proposals for an independent Scotland as a Catholic conspiracy, is that the SPFL is under the control of Peter Lawwell, as is everything else even remotely connected to Scottish football. They're still screaming for vengeance over imagined ills and still can't accept that their dead team was to blame for everything that happened to it!

Somebody on McMurdo's blog pointed everyone in the direction of a web page that explains the beliefs and behaviour of 'Theym.' I recommend that you have a look at it. My jaw hit the floor after only a couple of paragraphs and stayed there throughout. Do people honestly believe this shite?

When you're reading it, bear in mind that Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44BC; that's forty-four years before Christ was born, or probably nearer thirty-eight since most people think we got the date wrong and Christ was probably born in 6BC.

Anyway, have a read. Remember to leave your brain at the door!
